Pros (+) It was the perfect over night location, room was not massive but it did have enough space for luggage in a very well designed room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was also well constructed, so even though very small worked well and did not feel cramped
Cons (-) The check in staff were not the best, a little slow and lots of verification questions even after providing a booking.com reference number and ID.

Pros (+) We liked the more compact room and we liked how we could get tea and coffee from the bar area for free anytime of the day or night. The location was just out of the city, nearer to Usher Hall, we do like to walk so this suited us, it was 1.5 miles to the city centre or castle. It was a quiet location and the bed was comfortable.
Cons (-) The room wasn't clean, muck and fingernails on the floor in the bathroom, the glass bathroom door wasn't aligned so it didn't close properly. There were stains on the carpet...and this was a superior room so we'd paid more. We stayed for 3 nights and after the 2nd asked for our room to be cleaned, all they did was empty the bin and put another toilet roll in...no clean towels or bed re-made. This ...

Pros (+) Clean convenient location, simple check in. Well thought out design for a compact room.

Pros (+) Fantastic location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, great lounge/social area, clean and things well maintained.
Cons (-) The bathroom doors being glass provide zero privacy noise wise - and limited privacy visually. It’s understood the reason for the design, but if you’re going with someone, it’s a good thing to bear in mind.
